Pastor Harry went to be with his Lord and savior whom he loved and served with all his heart on March 24, 2021. His life was a testimony of his faith and his passion was spreading the word of God and showing others Jesus’s love. Harry was instrumental with many churches in central Illinois area throughout his adult life serving as a deacon, elder, bible college instructor, co-pastor, administrator at Riverside Community Church and Associate Pastor at Trinity Church in Morton. His greatest joys were being “Papa Hay” to his grandchildren, “Uncle Hay” to his nieces and nephews and spending time with his wife Tammi and their family. Pastor Harry Ellison resided in Pekin, IL, with his wife, Tammi. She is a certified travel consultant for AAA Chicago Travel in Peoria, IL. Harry and Tammi have 3 adult children, Scott, married to Sarah, Andrew and Stefanie. He was raised in Canton, IL, where he spent 30 years in health care safety and clinical engineering. Harry was a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ for over 40 years.

Pastor Harry’s passion was to serve and mature with a Christian body of believers who are focused on bringing God glory in worship, The Word, and living a Christ-centered life.
