Community Harvest began in 2008, serving just 3 families, and has now grown into the largest food pantry in Tazewell County serving over 40,000 people each year, including 16,000 children and 3,300 elderly.
Our mission is to be a visible demonstration of the Kingdom of God by acts of mercy that meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those we serve.
We are open every Saturday between 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, no income verification is required. The operation of Community Harvest is truly a community effort. Volunteers from many local churches and organizations come together every week to serve those in need.
