Core Beliefs
At the center of Trinity’s teachings is our belief in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God. Who is the full revelation of God in the flesh. The One who willingly died for the forgiveness of our sins and arose from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. Jesus did this so that we could live in relationship with God our creator and heavenly Father throughout eternity.
We believe that Holy Spirit is now empowering the body of Christ to live an overcoming life that will be pleasing to God as we are being prepared to become the bride of Christ.
We believe that there is only one way to receive forgiveness of sin. That is to confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that Jesus Christ died for our sins. That when we confess our sins, repent and ask for forgiveness, He is faithful and just to forgive us.
We believe Jesus is the only way (gate) to receive salvation.
We believe in the triune Godhead where God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are one.
We believe that water baptism is a vital element of a follower of Christ and that this decision is to be made by the individual, at an accountable age, as a public statement to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the baptism of Holy Spirit evidenced by a changed power filled life operating with Spiritual gifts as Holy Spirit directs.
We believe in receiving communion on a regular basis in remembrance of Jesus’ death until He returns.

Core VALUES
Our scriptural core values include:
Scripture
The anointed teaching of the Bible as the guide and compass for Christian life and a catalyst for transformation in individuals, the church, and our culture.
Worship
Authentic worship is a way of life that best reflects our central purpose, which is to glorify God, experience His presence, and live in intimate relationship with Him.
Evangelism
Lost, broken, and hurting people matter to God, and therefore, matter to the people of God. We intentionally seek them out to share the Good News of the kingdom of God.
Community
An authentic Biblical community should be characterized by relational transparency, integrity, unconditional love, respect, support, and continuous growth. This can be best experienced in small groups and ministry teams.
Family
The word of God emphasizes the importance of strong, healthy families and sets up the core standard of marriage between one man and one woman for life as a prophetic example of Jesus Christ and his Church as they submit to one another in love while encouraging and strengthening their children in the faith.
Spiritual Gifts
The church should operate as a unified community of servants stewarding their spiritual gifts. All of God’s people are called to be ministers of God and the church is called to release the best that we have for God’s glory.
Spirit Led
The church is led by Holy Spirit. We invite and welcome His presence in all functions. The church, in all of its ministries, is to be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure. Therefore, the church is open to a variety of methodologies that will fulfill the vision and mission as led by Holy Spirit.
Servant Leadership
The church elder team is comprised of men and women with leadership gifts who are Spirit filled and have exhibited a history of loving and serving the body at Trinity Church.
