Jesus Cipher Week 5 - Esther 1

The book of Esther is an interesting one in scripture. It does not actually mention God at any point in the book. Believers have long used it to teach us courage in the face of danger, divine providence and purpose, embracing one’s calling, seeking wisdom and counsel, faith and prayer, integrity, etc. This week will focus on the historical and religious and spiritual context of Esther and lay the initial groundwork for further reading and interpretation.
