End Times and God's Timetable - Part 3
This is the last of 3 blogs, addressing my final thoughts regarding “Are we in the end times.” I believe we would all agree as each day passes, we are closer to the second coming of Jesus. One of the most powerful and clear signs of the end of the age is found in the following scriptures.
I have cut and pasted these shocking but true passages for your reading in this blog. The first passage from 2Timothy is one I observe daily. These actions and attitudes of many today are so obvious and unquestioned by anyone who is not living under a rock. I used the word shocking because for most God-fearing followers of Christ it is hard to imagine people living such a destructive, self-centered lifestyle as seen in the following scriptures. However, this trend is increasing worldwide.
I know history records many evil times in the past. The question I ask myself is, "When is enough, enough?" It seems to me, we - and all creation - are now groaning and praying for the appearance of Jesus (Rom.8:22,23).
What have you seen in the last several years? What Is becoming the normal way of life for so many today? Interesting isn’t it? My question is where are our hearts? Are we joining in on today’s norm? Jesus said we are to love as He loves and forgive as He forgave. My prayer is this: Lord help us to represent you and your kingdom well.
A quote that helps guide me... “Love is sacrificing yourself for others. Lust is sacrificing others for yourself.”
Two final thoughts on “Are we in the end times:”
Revelation 22:20
He which testifies these things says, Surely, I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Additional References:
To confirm what will take place in the last days Watch/listen to the daily news, read local & national newspapers, listen to the conversations in the marketplace and watch the actions and attitudes of many (not all) today.
Many heathen nations in the past were sacrificing their children to false gods.
Enough said about additional references.

2Tim.3:1-7
Godlessness in the Last Days
1 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 6 For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, 7 always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.

Gal.5:15-25
Walking in the Spirit
15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
Walking in the Spirit
15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
1John 2:15-18
Do Not Love the World
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Deceptions of the Last Hour
18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the[a] Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.
Matthew 24:12
Is this what we see today
12 There will be such an increase of sin and lawlessness that those whose hearts once burned with passion for God and others will grow cold.

- Am I ready?
- Am I part of the problem or representing God’s solution for all to be ready?
